How do I pay for my Order?

The City Cupboards® team does everything it can to have as many payment options available for our customers. Below are the ways you can pay for your order 

  • COD (Cash on Delivery) - Please have the exact amount when paying, our drivers don't carry change.
  • Debit or Credit Card - You can either pay for your order before delivery or when our delivery team gets to you on the card machines.
  • EFT/ Direct Deposit.
  • Laybuy - If wanting to lay-bye your order, you will need to come into one of our locations to pay your deposit & put your mind at ease that we are real & legit & you get to see the item(s) you're wanting before paying over any monies. You can find our locations here -> STORE LOCATOR


How Long Will My Order Take to Get to Me?

All orders will fall within a 1-2 working day window or on a delivery date most suited for you. Mistakes do happen & volumes can get extreme at times, if there's a delay it won't be more than 1-2 days.


What is Risk Free Shopping?

We understand that you may not be happy with your particular City Cupboards® item(s), so whilst we are sure that you'll love your new goods, we will exchange/ refund all items within a 14 day period, provided they are in the same condition as when you first received them & returned before the 14 day window is up, should your items be defective or be it that you are unhappy with your particular purchase.


What if My Items Haven't Arrived in the Specified Time?

If, for any reason your City Cupboards® order hasn't arrived as indicated in the time period, or if you'd like to track the delivery status of your items, please email our customer care team on orders@citycupboards.co.za or drop us your concern on Messenger (Facebook or Instagram) or WhatsApp (076 875 0391).



How do I Know City Cupboards® Has Received My Order?

You will receive an automated confirmation email &/ or SMS along with the receipt to the same address associated when completing your order. This email will confirm your order, delivery address & your chosen payment method of your City Cupboards® items.

When your order does dispatch, you will receive a 2nd email &/ or SMS that it's on its way to you along with a complimentary call the day before delivery to remind you of the delivery.

How Do You Deliver My Items?

We pride ourselves on door-to-door delivery, taking the travel hassle out of your hands for you. We have our own fleet of delivery vehicles along with 2 friendly staff per vehicle who will be there to assist you with your new items upon delivery. Should you wish to collect the items yourself from any of our locations, you may also do so.


What Does Delivery Cost?

Delivery costs are entirely dependent on your area. We are always doing everything in our power to make this aspect of our business more cost effective & reliable by any means necessary. Please see the below for delivery rates -

Yes. We do offer basic customisations on all our products. For Example -

  • Totally Shelved.
  • Totally Hanging.
  • No Shelves & No Hanging.
  • Added Mirrors.
  • Different Feet.
